Mudcrab
Who is he?
Mudcrab is very similar to creeper. He will buy anything at full price, regenerates his money supply etc. Only this time he has a whopping 10,000 gold rather than 5,000. This makes selling items much easier and more efficient.
Heres the kicker. Mudcrab is MUCH MUCH harder to find than Creeper. I will try to get give you detailed explinations on how to get there, but you may still have trouble. The two easiest places to start from are either Vivec or Suran. Suran actualy is closer.
Lets take a look at a map
As you can see Mudcrab is off in the wilderness. In fact he is on an
island, it is very easy to mistake him for one of the wimpy mudcrabs
that are scattered on adjacent islands and throughout the region.
The easiest way to travel here is going to be
levitation. You can either buy a levitation spell from a Mage's guild,
or you can make potions. See the Alchemy Pages for more detail. Head
Due south from Suran until you find the Daedric Ruin of Ald Sotha. Daedric
ruins are easily noticeable by their extremely oblique/angular architecture.
Most of the architecture seems very random and has a distinctive purplish
color. Once you get to these ruins (see map above to check your location),
head due east to the Mzahnch (I think Dwemer) ruins. Find the Southeast
corner of that island/ruins.
Heres another map to double check your location more spectifically
As you can see, Mudcrab is located on a tiny island off the Southeast
corner of the ruins island. When you get on the island you should see
a little mudcrab like such:
You'll notice he has an identifying subtitle and does not attack you.
Speak with him
and you'll get a screen like this. Now you will notice when you barter
that he has 10,000 gold and stocks a few potions.
